The Spelling Test for Lesson 25 will be next week on Thursday, May 30th. There will also be a grammar test for  which a study guide will go home by Thursday.

                Word web (prewrite) for "My Trip to " paragraph if it wasn't completed in school
TUESDAY - Sentences for first nine spelling words 1-9.
WEDNESDAY - Sentences for second nine spelling words 10-18
                         Journeys Workbook page 157/STUDY for spelling
THURSDAY - Worksheet/STUDY for LA
FRIDAY - No homework

*There a two days for sentences to produce really well written descriptive and detailed sentences which follow the rules such as starting with a capital letter, ending with an end mark and being a complete thought.  More than one complete thought is great too!  Students should use one word per sentence. IF sentences were already completed over the weekend and were approved they do not need  to be redone.

BOOK REPORTS ARE DUE MONDAY, MAY 20TH.

The "File" on "Who Was Steve Irwin? "  is DUE on April 16th.  Students should be completing a page after reading each chapter

Spelling Test on Thursday
LA Test on Friday ( Comprehension & Vocabulary)

Read, read, read " Who Was Steve Irwin?"  This project is in place of our reading logs. Students should still be reading every night. This project should be completed over time. Plan and pace yourself!
