Students can bring in Valentine cards for their classmates.  Cards should be in by Thursday when we will be celebrating Valentine's Day.  It will be a dress down day to wear red and donate a dollar to for Heart Health Awareness.

We can definitely win this contest!  All the class has to do is collect Box Tops found on all sorts of products such as cereal, granola bars and butter.  Cut them out and paste to the pink paper that went home and return it when both sides are full.  We have more papers so let's keep it going for February!

Friday is a full day and Spirit Day (Red or Pink) and donate $1 for the CCS Scholarship Fund.  There will be pretzels since they weren't sold last Friday.

Everyone should have decided on their book for their Book Report by Friday.  There are plenty of books in our class library to borrow as well as your own town library.

Also,  there is a religion test on Chapter 10 - the Liturgical year on Monday.

Everyone did an amazing job with Book Character Day!  Thank you parents for helping to get our characters together.  Students were well prepared and well spoken as the introduced their characters to each grade! Miss Lemaire and I are so proud!

Tomorrow is pj day!  Students can bring a stuffed animal.  Please, no slippers!

Lastly,  Friday is Blue & Gold/School Spirit Day.  Students can bring in board games.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our family "assignment".  Everyone really enjoyed celebrating our families!

REMINDER:  Tomorrow is Book Character Day for 3rd grade.  Students should come to school dressed and be able to introduce their characters ( who they are, what book they are from and one or two sentences about their character).  Students are allowed to bring props such as the book as well.

We had fun with the raffles today!  Congratulations to Brynn and Gabby!  We also had a great time playing musical chairs with 3A

IMPORTANT:  Friday is a 12:00 dismissal not 12:45!!

Celebrating our Families

posted Jan 24, 2019, 12:19 PM by Nancy Draney

As part of Catholic Schools Week, 3rd grade is giving our families an assignment.  It's not really an "assignment" because first of all it is optional and second of all it is more like a fun activity!  Check the folders for more details and have fun with it.  It is due on Monday, January 28th.

Book Character Day

Book Character Day information went home last week.  Students will dress as their favorite character on Wednesday, January 30th.  Students will remain dressed in costume for the entire day.  Students should be prepared to introduce their character and give a short description of them as we go around to other classes that day.
