Attention CCS Families - By now, you probably realized that our HSA (and eventually the School Office) has been sending out emails through MailChimp. The decision to start using MailChimp is to be able to better notify our CCS Families and Friends about upcoming events and updates across a clean and secure media platform. We encourage you read all the emails delivered and update your calendars with the important information shared with you.

Also - please check your spam folder if you haven’t received an email from HSA in the last week.

We are starting to practice for our Saint Procession which is coming up soon.  Everyone should be working on their SAINT REPORTS which are due on Friday, October 19th.  Also, students should be putting together their costumes and props to look like their saints.

We are almost at 100% acceptance.  We are just waiting on two parents to send back their agreement.  The second part of the challenge :) was sent home today.  We would love to tell the class how it went.  Your child will be reading what you wrote to the class.  Good news is you don't have to write it in script!  Thank you for participating!

Students in need of a progress report would have one in their blue folder this evening.  They need to be signed and returned.

Parent Challenge

posted Oct 9, 2018, 12:50 PM by Nancy Draney

Sooooo.....3B came up with a Parent Challenge.  We were discussing giving your full attention and listening and phones came up in the conversation.  Sadly, today they do take up a lot of our attention.  The Challenge ,which is optional, went home in the folder today.  Simply, accept or not accept and send it back.  If accepted, parents/grandparents agree to attempt to stay off their phones for an entire hour while with their student.  You have a week to complete the challenge.  This is not an excuse for children to confiscate phones and they are aware of that.  This is an agreed upon time that won't interfere with work or cause hardship.  This may be easy for some and impossible for others.  There is no judgement, just a gaining of some insight from our childrens' perspective.  Good Luck!!

Thank you!! & Kerplunk!!
